Well Jhirmack did it again with another great event that I was honored to present at. Last month over 60 women gathered together in Charlotte, NC to discuss the transition phase, learn what colors and styles work best for them, and enjoy a sense of camaraderie.
Diana Lewis Jewell, the author of Going Gray Looking Great, kicked off the event and led us all in the infamous “Silver Sister Strut” at the Bechtler Museum. I met some amazing women (and men!) who have embraced their unique look. They all carry one trait that I find absolutely beautiful: authenticity.
The silver hair woman carries herself different…she is authentic. She intimately understands the sense of freedom one gets by ditching the bottle for her natural color yet it goes beyond that. She is finally comfortable in her own skin and feels powerful showing her true colors.
